Since returning from the Peace Corps in Africa, graduate school, et. al.: ~ DC political activist with an interest and experience in international affairs, military, defense issues and armed forces. ~ the next Presidential election of 2008 will be an amazing political cycle ~ I've been looking for a candidate who has the background and credentials to win ~ Al Gore is the one ~ Al Gore needs to run for President in 2008 because he is the one candidate who can win the White House for the Democrats ~ The Democratic nomination for President is up in the air ~ No candidate will win the nomination early, as much as the big time insiders would like to do just that ~ Gore is the one Democrat who's got the best chance of winning the general election in November 2008 because of his strong stand on national defense, a sound economy and protection for the environment.

The snl clip was good but I only saw a portion of the clip of him on the SNL news. If you find that, you should post that!
I've been on the Gore bandwagon for quite some time now. Let's hope that he actually runs. I think many of us could describe our view that the US needs him and his leadership...
