Who Would Al Gore Pick For Vice President?

There would be several people who would be valuable assets to any ticket. Who should we start with? What are the metrics we would use to evaluate a potential V-P under a President Al Gore? There are a couple of ways of looking at the situation. But first, understand that the Vice President only gives a Presidential ticket one or two points in the polls. I think that it can also be a negative, like the case of Dan Quale. He hurt Bush.
