Al Gore Gives Outstanding Address - "Restoring the Rule of Law"

I was at DAR Constitution Hall today to hear Al Gore speak. He was really terrific! The crowd was very impressed and afterwards I heard people saying how great Gore had done. I'll be interested in knowing how many people attended. There was a large crowd and I would guess about 3,000 attended.

People were really ready to respond to the former V-P's message. In fact, Gore was calm and organizied in delivering the speech. Al Gore's speech was world class. It was very thoughtful and well researched. He gave lots of facts and examples on what he was talking about. People really loved it.

Gore's last line was maybe the best, "As Dr. King once said, 'Perhaps a new spirit is rising among us. If it is, let us trace its movements and pray that our own inner being may be sensitive to its guidance, for we are deeply in need of a new way beyond the darkness that seems so close around us'."
